Our Story

We are a family of six (four teenagers!). Originally from Canada, we have been in the U.S. for more than 20 years and have lived in Seattle, New York, Florida, Washington, DC, and are now thrilled to be Vermonters.

We visited HHF for the first time about 14 years ago when we had only three of our kids. We instantly fell in love with the place, returning several times over the next five years. At that time, Bob and Lee joked we should purchase the farm. We laughed, got in our car and drove away. Then, after an interlude when we were too far away to visit, we returned the summer of 2020. The farm was for sale, and the rest, as they say, is history.

We’re pretty excited to have the privilege of running the farm. We love it here and plan to make that love show in its day-to-day operation.

We know a large part of what makes HHF so great is how much all of you love it, too. So, come by if you’re close enough to visit and sign up to receive emails if you can’t make it over. Either way, we want to share the place with you.

Best,
Neil & Catherine
